The Petaluma Leghorns give young players a chance to chase their baseball dreams — from college to the pros. Along the way, they build character, grit, and lifelong skills that go far beyond the game.
The Petaluma Leghorns captured their sixth California State Championship in July 2025. The team has delivered a dominant postseason performance. The 'Horns entered the Championship Game undefeated, needing to win just one of two possible games. They lost the first one in a close game, but bounced back with a commanding 10–0 victory in the final Championship Game, showcasing the grit, depth, and resilience that define Leghorns Baseball as they continue their run into regionals.
With the state title secured, the Leghorns now advance to the American Legion Western Regional Tournament, August 6–10 in Fairfield, CA. Representing Northern California, the team will compete against top programs from across the western U.S. in a double-elimination format. The 2025 journey isn’t over—it’s just heating up.
